During this two-week program, students will have the opportunity to develop their skills in cinematic storytelling and filmmaking techniques. Working collaboratively, they will create a unique 15-minute short film. The first week will focus on training, covering every aspect of equipment familiarization and the fundamental stages of production. During the second week, students will apply their newly-learned skills to produce a short film. This film will be entirely created, produced, directed, mixed, edited, and performed by the young producers of the future. A week after the conclusion of the program family and friends will be invited to attend the red carpet premiere of the short film as the young prodigies will experience the ambiance of being involved in an Academy Awards-type presentation of their film as they receive their awards.
